The location was ideal for our romantic escape, with plenty of charming restaurants and shops nearby. Plus, it was just a short walk away from the main sights we wanted to see. Best aspects: We also appreciated the warm and welcoming staff, who made us feel right at home. the room was clean and tidy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The room was a bit chilly at times, and we had to ask for extra blankets to stay warm. the decor was a bit outdated, but it didn't impact our overall experience too much.

No elevator, we had to drag our luggage up 4 flights of stairs. No air conditioning, no internet or breakfast given as advertised, room was filthy and bedding had stains. Owners didn't know any English.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the train station and many great restaurants. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was cozy and warm, with a comfortable bed and nice amenities. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the morning, which had a variety of options to choose from.
The room was a bit outdated and could use some renovations. The shower was not the best, with low water pressure and a poorly designed layout.

Good location right next to the train station and the Duomo - ideal for a one night stay. Meeting the proprietor was an experience we'll never forget!
There was no air conditioning (which was included in the price of the room) the lady switched on the fan and showed us how to use it. It was only the next morning when we said it was far too hot and we didn't sleep well did she say that we could have switched the air-con on. Just bare this in mind and ask for it - a little cost saving I would suggest! Check out was at 11am but we did get a knock at the door at 10am to get out, which wasn't appreciated! Perfect for a one night stay if travelling by train.

Convenient location near train station and market. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Authentic Italian ambiance. Helpful grandson who speaks English. Spacious room with private bath. Great value for the price. Easy access to restaurants and cafes. Walking distance to historic city centre.
There was nothing I didn't like.

The old lady that runs the place is so adorable, you just want to take her home as a surrogate grandma. The rooms are large and look out into a typical italian backyard that is very romantic. The furniture is authentic, classic, you really 'feel' the country you are in.
The pillows are like bricks. Literally.
